Well, I got to enjoy a four day weekend over what was a three day weekend for most, but I am not so sure that ‘enjoy’ is the correct verb to use, because I had my wisdom teeth removed at 7:30 AM Friday morning. I spent the rest of the day in pain and stupor.
I did manage to watch the Blindside, and all three movies in the Matrix trilogy, as well as complete the SquidFlicks 3.0 layout. I really don’t remember doing all that stuff, so it must have been the medication. Sunday was ok. I was still sore but the bleeding slowed a whole lot.
On Monday, Stephanie invited me over for lunch and a movie. We cooked some bowtie pasta, baked some brownies, then sat down and watched 2012. I thought the movie was ok but the afternoon was great!
Now, almost a week after the surgery, I am still sore. The four giant holes in the back of my mouth are constantly getting on my nerves. Food gets trapped, cold drinks cause it to sting, etc. I can’t wait for this to heal up completely. At least I won’t ever have to do this again!
All surgery sucks, period.
