Just a few short days ago I lamented the fact that I lost my beautiful iPhone 3GS jailbreak due to Cydia’s refusal to cooperate with me.
It seems that my timing is impeccable, because the untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3.2 was released just a few hours ago, and as of writing this article, I am back in jailbroken bliss.
I am happy once more! Or at least I will be once I get some sleep. Thanks to a tornado warning and severe weather in Lexington last night, I spent two hours up longer than usual waiting out the storm in the basement of my dorm…resulting in a serious lack of sleep. I am not real sure how I have made it through today! Ha!
Goodnight world! =P
Thanks to my Cydia installation becoming corrupted to the point that I can’t even SSH into my iphone to reinstall it, I decided to restore my entire iphone. Unfortunately it means I will be forced to update to 4.3.2, which only has the tethered jailbreak option at the moment.
Although this is quite annoying, I can live without my jailbreaks for a short time – after all, the untethered jailbreak option for 4.3.2 is sure to come out soon.
Jailbreaking can be annoying when it’s not working, but it is definitely worth it. I’ll be very happy once I can pwn my phone again, but in the meantime, I’ll make due.
